Buskers at the Forks

Today's class assignment took me and another student to the Forks to take environmental portraits of each other. I've been giddy with my new 50mm f1.8 lens and it spilled over into shooting more than just the assignment. There's something nice to being in school: it's taking me out into mid-afternoon Winnipeg life - rather than being confined to an office from 9 - 5. I hope you can hear the music in this shot. I still can.
