I’ve had a lot of fun photographing Danielle and Joël over the past 3 years (from fun girly portrait shoots with Danielle, to their engagement session, then their wedding…) and now it was my absolute joy to photograph their new son. WHAT AN ADORABLE NEWBORN!! This little guy has some serious good looks (not surprised, his parents have always made great models for my camera!). And for being only 13 days old yesterday, I was so ecstatic to be able to capture so many attentive looks. He loves looking at bright windows (perfect for me!) and seemed to enjoy the click of my shutter. I’ve been glued to my computer since the shoot yesterday, and I finally have photos to post. I’ve heard from my sister that Danielle keeps checking my blog for an update… I usually don’t blog photos before handing the digital negatives to my clients, but this one’s an exception! (Je sais que t’attends pour les photos, Danielle) :)

These photos were all taken at my house yesterday, and I’ve got to say that, being a natural light photographer, I’m pretty happy about my porch and dining room. I’m definitely investing in a space heater so that I can use the porch for shoots in the winter!

Julia and I met several years ago, and though we live in two separate provinces, we still keep in touch regularly – by Canada Post mail, no less!
Zachary is a beautiful baby and absolutely adorable. He is the perfect new addition to the family and I’m glad to see how much joy he brings to his parents (and grandparents!). Congratulations Julia and Mike!

This is Emily, she’s 10 month old, and she is fit to be in front of the lens. Not only does she have the cute thing going for her, but she was all into it – giving me the biggest smiles and eyes a baby photographer could ever ask for! Although she was being all shy on me at first (oh-so-cutely), she soon warmed up to me and wouldn’t stop looking to be in the spot light. I loved it!

It’s been a lot of fun, from baby photography to wedding photography in Ontario and some street photography in Montreal. (My Holga and I had a fun-filled day today. Results to come in a few weeks I hope.) I’m in the slow process of editing all my photos when I’m not out and about in the lively city of Montreal… so for now, here’s a sneak peek at the very cute and adorable baby Zachary, born 2 weeks ago.
