Pardon my sparse blogging these days... I've been slowly coming out of a busy teaching phase, as well as an all-around busy life phase, and for once this year I have a few weeks to breathe.
You may have noticed that my last two one word Wednesdays featured white skirts - which is really just a coincidence. But I think this means that sub-consciously I'm desperately longing for anything that feels like summer. But my reality here in Winnipeg is saying otherwise. We did not get just ONE unexpected spring snow dumping - but TWO.
Yes, two. Not one right after the other. I mean, one snow dumping on one day, followed by warmer days for almost melting all of it, and then a second snow dumping.
Yesterday morning we woke up to more snow than they had predicted - and wet, heavy, car-tire-clogging snow. Ugh. Will spring ever come?
YES it will! I have pictures from spring 2008 to prove it. From what I know, springs comes after winter, so I'm banking on it for 2009 too.
Despite my doubts of spring ever coming, my spirits are high and my excitement for all the shoots coming up this summer is getting my shutter finger happy and the frame-composing part of my brain giddy.
But enough talking - here's a few reminiscent shots from last year to make up for this spring's late arrival...

Hey, I'm up for you shooting my eyeball!!! But I'm not in Winnipeg again for awhile :( (April 22nd-25th) Love the pics, they're amazing!!! The second blue eyeball is my fave...looks like one of those balls of electricity.
