Joyce and Dean got married on a day where the rain poured down for a few unsettling moments, but the sun always broke through the clouds just at the right time - including the moment they joined hands at their ceremony in front of friends and family. And thanks to the rain and dark clouds, we ended up getting incredible shots in a canola field with a rainbow in the background! All in all, the day was gorgeous and we had a great time taking photos at Pine Ridge Hollow and in nearby fields. It was important for them to get several shots depicting our common prairie landscape because they are living in New Zealand, far from Joyce's homeland. It was a pleasure to be a part of their great day and a joy to meet so many of Dean's "Kiwi" friends and family as they were so affectionately called. :)
Congratulations Joyce and Dean - rainbows are a reminder of happiness and hope, and I wish nothing less than that for you in your new life!
