We almost canceled the shoot because of looming rain, but by the time Saturday morning rolled around, the ground was drying up and the sky stayed consistently overcast. Perfect shooting conditions! Except for the mosquitoes... when we got to St. Vital Park, they were ferocious! But that didn't stop us! Lisa and Lyle are engaged to be married in October of 2010, and it was a pleasure to photograph them on a relaxed and casual day. The park was beautiful and Lisa and Lyle were naturals in front of the camera. I guess when you know someone so well, being with each other looks so natural - no matter if a lens is in your face! I can't wait until next year and see them on their big day!
