Ok, I must admit, I have never been to Saskatchewan, except a couple times to drive through the province to get to the other side. Well, after all the jokes about how boring Saskatchewan is, I must say that it isn’t quite what I expected. The province is more beautiful and interesting than I thought, and I’m here to show why. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m from Manitoba, and having lived here all my life, I think it’s easy for me to love Saskatchewan’s landscape. What with the big open skies, the colourful fields and the gentle rolling hills… there’s nothing like a long drive on the highway in the prairies. Even in the “dead” of spring! (Yes, dead. There was snow in May.)
I spent the weekend in Prince Albert, and let me tell you, that’s quite a few hours of driving. I had time to take a few shots, as well as edit a few images while in the car with my trusty laptop. What else is there to do in the 10 hour drive?
