Warm up to love

Love is in the air!

We all know how dreadfully cold it is out there now, so my good friend Denley Thiessen and I (who also happens to be a great photographer) decided to put a little somethin’-somethin’ together for all you love birds out there. We’ve been busy cooking up something warm for you…
Whether you’re in a new relationship or you’re a couple that’s been together for 50 years, we have a special contest for you with awesome prizes! We all know we’re waiting for spring and the warm weather, so we have a little treat prepared for you. We want to give you an opportunity to have a photo shoot with you and your significant other. Your very own photo session!

Send a picture of you and your honey showing us how you are beating this cold weather. It’s the dead of winter so be creative! Photos can be taken outside bundled up, inside by the fireplace or at your favourite coffee shop sipping on lattés… to name a few ideas.

Two couples will win a 1-hour photo session including the digital negatives and a beautiful 8×10 print of your favourite photo. The grand prize couple winner will receive a photo session with digital negatives and an 8×10 print, but will also have coverage by two photographers: Denley and me! We’ll be bringing each of our unique styles to the photo shoot so you can have a wide variety of beautiful photos. And for extra fun, we’ll throw in a free make-up session by the lovely Jessica Kmiec.

So get those cameras ready and get your photos in by February 7th. Winners will be announced on Valentine’s day! Wouldn’t that make a great Valentine’s day gift?

Contest Entry Details:

Digital photos only, and they should be no bigger than 1 or 2MB if possible. Please email the photo to contest@egabrielle.com by February 7, 2009 at 11:59pm. Your names and phone number must be included in the email. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email on February 14, 2009.

Photo sessions will take place between May 1, 2009 and October 1, 2009. Only one photo may be submitted per couple. You may enter the contest for a couple you know if you take and send their photo for them.
