Gabrielle Touchette

Welcome and thanks for visiting my blog! I'm a freelance photographer based in Winnipeg, Canada and I absolutely love what I do. I started my photography business a couple years ago after graduating from PrairieView School of Photography with a diploma in professional photography. What I learned at school was invaluable but I don't believe a diploma is more important than a strong portfolio.

My love of photography started a long time ago with a point & shoot camera, and my passion for this art form continues to grow with every shoot I do. I love photographing people and events and I am captivated by honest emotion and fleeting moments. My first love is the creation of photographic art and I'm in the constant pursuit of capturing the unconventional beauty of life. I believe every photograph should have intention because everything has a story and a purpose to communicate.

When I'm not busy shooting weddings, portraits or events, I teach photography classes at PrairieView and work on art projects for exhibitions with my photographic art collective, f/action.

Wedding Albums – the linen-covered coffee table book

I’m excited to show you photos of my linen-covered coffee table books – perfect for wedding albums, wedding guest books or portrait photo books. I have to tell you: these books are gorgeous and have an incredible texture. They’re made in Canada (love it) and come in 6 beautiful colours. In the photos here I have petal green, taupe and black on display. They have gorgeous hand-made marble end papers (you can’t miss them!) and the option of having your name stamped onto the book. There are also matching boxes or slip cases available.

January 17, 2010 - 9:05 pm Kismet Gomez - Hello, I would like to ask about the photo book you do have. Do you print the photo book yourself? Would you be able to make the photo bool album if we gave you the pictures? If so, how much is it? thank you!

June 22, 2010 - 12:48 pm Kerri McBeth - Hello, My finacee and I are interested in having a coffee table book made for our wedding day. We want to put questions on one side of the page and a picture of us on the other, and our guests would then asnwer whatever question is on that page. Its a way for them to sign our "guest book". We already have a photographer though. If we sent you our pictures, are you able to put one together for us. If so, how much? Thanks for you time, hope to hear from you soon! Kerri McBeth
